    Here’s an upcoming event you might be interested in.

    Digable Planets Presents: Butterfly and Doodlebug featuring the Cosmic Funk Orchestra (CFO) Band

    The Fall 2009 tour marks the first time the duo have performed Digable Planets songs with a live three-piece band since 2005. In addition to Digable classics, the tour will also showcase material for both artists’ recent solo releases: Butterfly’s “Shabazz Palaces” and Doodlebug’s and the CFO’s “Intifadah.”

  2. Hey Ace- (did I get your name right?) We met at the Right To Know rally today. I was hoping you could send me a couple pictures I could post on my site. I was the second speaker, we met just before the rally started. Any pictures would be great! I thought it was a successful rally. Good speakers and more people there than I thought there would be.

  3. Pittsburgh based soul group Black Coffee will be making their first stop in Brooklyn with many local artists. This show is being held at the Greenpoint Gallery March 10. Doors will open a little before 9 and the music will start at 9. $10 for the evening. Feel free to contact the band at the email below.
